Vibe Coding: A Second Chance for People Who Thought Coding Wasn't For Them
Vibe Coding: A Second Chance for People Who Thought Coding Wasn't For Them
A Pediforte guide for learners who bounced off JavaScript, Python, or "coding" in general — and are ready to try again on different terms.
Read this first
If you've ever sat through a coding class and felt the room speed up while your brain stayed behind — this guide is for you.
You're not stupid. You didn't fail. What happened is simpler than that: you were asked to memorize a foreign language and solve problems in it at the same time. That's like being asked to write a poem in a language you only half-speak. Of course it felt impossible.
The world has changed. You no longer have to memorize syntax to build software. You have to learn how to think clearly and communicate precisely — and a machine will handle the syntax. We call this vibe coding, and by the end of this guide you'll have a live website you built yourself, hosted on the internet, with a real link you can send to anyone.
But here's the catch, and I'm going to be honest with you because Pediforte doesn't do fluff: vibe coding is not a shortcut around understanding. It's a different on-ramp. You'll still learn JavaScript. You'll still learn how code works. You'll just learn it in the order that makes sense for a human being — by building first, and reading second.
Let's go.
Duration: 4 weeks. 4 modules. 12 live sessions (3 per week) plus self-paced labs.
Format: Cohort-based. Hybrid — live sessions can be online or in-person at the Pediforte campus in Ibadan. Each week has a mid-week checkpoint and a Friday ship day.
Time commitment: ~10 hours per week. 3 hours of live sessions, 5 hours of building, 2 hours of reading and reviewing your own code.

- People who watched 30 YouTube tutorials and still cannot build anything.
- Non-technical founders who want to prototype their own ideas.
- Designers, marketers, and PMs who want to stop waiting on developers.
- Students at university who feel behind on AI tooling.
Who it is not for:
- People who want to game the AI to pass technical interviews without learning. We will not help with that and we will not pretend to.
Prerequisites:
- A laptop running Windows 10+, macOS, or Linux.
- A reliable internet connection (4G or better).
- A Google account.
What you will own at graduation:
- A live personal portfolio website.
- A live mini-app (your choice from a menu).
- A working command-line tool you wrote yourself.
